Course Description & Instructional Objective:

     This course is an advanced study of mechanical systems with and emphasis on the refrigeration cycle.  Students will select components and design systems using the knowledge gained in A/C R 201C.

 

     Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to correctly size suction, liquid and discharge lines; properly size and select compressors, evaporators and condensers per application; calculate EER, COP, KW and HP; recognized and understand the operation of complex refrigeration systems.
