Welcome to the Restaurant Program at Cypress College!

Considering a career in Food Service Management? HRC‘s Restaurant Program at Cypress College helps optimize your opportunities for success!

With a faculty that includes industry professionals, HRC’s Restaurant Program has teamed up with the Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association to offer the industry-sponsored Pro-Management Certificate Program as part of the curriculum. This alliance, committed to raising the level of professionalism of food service in the hospitality industry, merges both solid academic foundation and industry experience to provide our students the confidence and necessary skills for a career in management. Our Internship Program also provides our students quality on-the-job training as well as professional experience.

Graduates of the HRC’s Restaurant Program now fulfill management careers in Restaurant, Banquet, Catering Directorship, and other food and beverage establishments in schools, hospitals, cruise liners, parks or resorts. In the heart of Southern California’s hospitality hub, our local business partners include the Disney Resorts, Hyatt Hotels, Wolfgang Puck’s, Coco’s, and Carrow’s, to name a few.

With the promise of an exciting and dynamic career, HRC’s Restaurant Program offers flexibility with choices of the Apprentice Certificate, Food Service Management Certificate, and Associate in Science Degree in Food Service Management.
