Dr. Donley is the Dean of Vocational Education & Economic Development at Cypress College. Prior to becoming a dean, he was a full-time faculty member. Dr. Donley was a practicing attorney for over 20 years prior to joining Cypress College in 1994. Dr. Donley is also an Architect and is licensed to practice architecture in California.

Mr. Alexander has been involved in the automotive industry for over 30 years and has been teaching at Cypress College since 1981. He was involved in the development of the Toyota-Technical Education Network (T-TEN), was the first T-TEN coordinator here and serves on the National T-TEN Advisory Council. Mr. Alexander teaches Brakes, Chassis and Alignment technology, Automotive Fundamentals and Special Projects.

Mr. Beard has worked in the automotive repair industry for over 20 years. After graduating from Cypress College with a major in automotive technology, he worked in the automotive industry as a technician, group leader, shop foreman and service manager. He is ASE certified in 37 different areas of auto, truck, and bus repair; he is also a Toyota Certified Master Diagnostic Technician. Mr. Beard teaches power train classes as well as Automotive Fundamentals, Survey of the Automobile and Automotive Electrical courses.

Mr. Blanchard is the T-TEN (Toyota Technical Education Network) coordinator at Cypress College. He works with Toyota and Lexus dealerships to develop career paths for T-TEN students, placing them in positions at automotive service technicians. Mr. Blanchard is who you want to contact when beginning your T-TEN education here at Cypress College.

Mr. Boatright specializes in automotive climate control systems. This technology encompasses the heater, ventilation and air conditioning systems, related components along with automatic climate control technology. He has been teaching Cypress College automotive air conditioning classes for over five years and has over 20 years experience in the industry.

Ms. Coman is the Automotive Technology laboratory technician and the also serves the same function for the Automotive Collision Department. Ms. Coman is familiar with all the staff, having been with the college for over eight years, and most often is working in the Automotive Technology area during the evening hours, providing support to the instructors and students who take evening courses.

Mr. Fu is a former Cypress College Automotive Technology student. After graduation the program, he worked as a technician and quickly moved through the dealership ranks to now be Service Director for one of the busiest Toyota dealerships in the area. Mr. Fu puts his Toyota background to use as an instructor in the Cypress College T-TEN network.

Mr. Klyde has over 25 years of automotive experience, including 10 years as a journeyman and smog technician, over 10 years experience working in the OE environment at Isuzu and Mitsubishi, and over 6 years developing training materials for several manufactures, including Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Hyundai and Kia. Mr. Klyde has a BA in Industrial Arts and an MA in Occupational Studies from CSULB. He has taught at Cypress for over 11 years in the areas of Advanced Tune-Up, OBD II, and Electrical. Mr. Klyde also has great interest in the collector car hobby and automotive history, and will be teaching the Automotive History Course at the college.

Mr. Moreno is a former student of the Cypress College T-TEN program. He is an instructor for several T-TEN courses including suspension and handling, brakes, air conditioning, and manual and automatic transmissions. Mr. Moreno has over 12 years of industry experience.

Mr. Orozco possess extensive automotive experience and is currently the Advanced Transportation Technology (ATT) Coordinator here at Cypress College. Mr. Orozco has owned his own automotive repair center, and has taught at East LA Occupational Center and Rio Hondo college. Mr. Orozco specializes in the areas of alternative fuels and has co-authored a natural gas training curriculum which is in use by several transit and fleet systems across the state. Mr. Orozco stays current with new technology from several manufacturers by attending their training courses. He has a BA from CSULA with an emphasis in electronics.

Mr. Rentie is an instructor for the Survey of the Automobile course. He has been with the department for over four years. He has a passion for the auto industry and has worked in the aftermarket for over 10 years, including work at Nitrous Oxide Systems, Performance International and currently at Edelbrock Inc. in Torrance, CA. He is also a freelance writer for several automotive enthusiast publications. Mr. Rentie has extensive experience in the automotive aftermarket industry including stints at Performance International, Nitrous Oxide Systems and currently Edelbroek Inc. He is also a feature writer for several automotive enthusiast magazines. "PJ" currently teaches Automotive Survey and Fundamentals classes.

Mr. Rojas has been in the automotive repair business for over 30 years. He has worked as a heavy line technician, automatic transmission specialist, engine performance and emissions specialist, and operator of a mobile repair business. Mr. Rojas is an ASE Master Technician, L1 Advanced Engine Performance and Alternate Fuels Technician specialist. He is the instructor for Basic Area and Advanced Clean Air Car Courses at Cypress College.

Mr. Sherard has been involved with automotive education at the secondary and post secondary level for more than 30 years. He has worked as an automotive machinist and dealership technician and has been an ASE certified Master Technician and Machinest for over 25 years. Mr. Sherard is the instructor for Engine Repair and Machining, Automotive Electricity, Automotive Survey and Fundamental courses.
