MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN

Welcome to the Vocational Educational Division at Cypress College. The Vocational Education Division exists to provide students with a variety of degree, certificate and transfer opportunities in several vocational and technical disciplines. We offer programs in the areas of Hospitality, Restaurant and Culinary Arts, Airline & Travel Careers, Aviation, Marine Service Technician, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician, and Automotive Technology and Automotive Collision Repair, both of which include the nationally recognized T-TEN option supported by the Toyota Motor Corporation.

Whether you are a high school student thinking about a technical career, a transfer student seeking to complete your undergraduate degree in one of our technical disciplines, an adult re-entry student seeking to build your skills or retrain, or an individual seeking personal growth and development, we have a program to fit your needs.

Our faculty, staff, and counselors are committed to helping you succeed in your educational goals. We provide academic, financial aid, and career counseling to assist you in meeting your educational and career objectives.

Employment opportunities are excellent for a student who completes a vocational or technical program at Cypress College. In fact, many of our students are able to secure career employment before they complete their instructional program.

Located on the second floor of the Technical Education I Building, the division staff is prepared to provide information, direction, and other assistance to students and visitors.

The division staff is your best resource for general information about the division, our programs, and scheduling.
